The supporters of Girthquake booed when Korssund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noe Flaks didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stein Egeland in the 46th minute of play forced Korssund's goalkeeper Conrado Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ingvar Stensvold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Conrado Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Tvete in the 87th minute of the match. If Ingvar Stensvold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute Samuel Tvete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korssund's Conrado Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Stensvold in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the Korssund defense, Samuel Tvete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Arias. The Korssund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Arias should have stopped the shot.
