After 6 played minutes Oslo Øst FK got a freekick which was hit by Cornelius Fauske. Kovlands IF's Anton Wetteland got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dag Anderssen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelmalek Maroc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Abdelmalek Maroc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Anderssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kovlands IF's Rasmus Kvalvåg got a free kick in the 17th minute. Oslo Øst FK's Abdelmalek Maroc got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bård Røren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Hilstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Richard Hilstad charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Hilstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Oslo Øst FK booed when Kovlands IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Hilstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Abdelmalek Maroc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kovlands IF's Dag Anderssen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Håvard Kilen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dag Anderssen. Kovlands IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harald Rønningen made a kick off. Dag Anderssen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håvard Kilen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Oslo Øst FK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sondre Dyrseth hit a great ball. Dag Anderssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelius Fauske, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 68 minutes into the match, Abdelmalek Maroc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dag Anderssen. Kovlands IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelmalek Maroc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abdelmalek Maroc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Anderssen having to interfere. If Abdelmalek Maroc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Kovlands IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Rønningen to maneuver through the defense. Dag Anderssen came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Oslo Øst FK's Abdelmalek Maroc. But to his dismay, Abdelmalek Maroc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Daniel Lyng charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Lyng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Lyng kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
