Knut Ødegården sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Storhamar Fotball's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Bjarne Falck scored to the left of an out of position Erik Eiken, making the score, 1-0.

With a little luck, Svalstog BK's Ivar Opland got control of the ball when Eilert Solsvik tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute Bjarne Falck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Eiken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eilert Solsvik got free with Ivar Opland in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Roger Hammervold came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Svalstog BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Hammervold couldn't finish the play. The Storhamar Fotball fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Storhamar Fotball's Eilert Solsvik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eilert Solsvik got free with Ivar Opland in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erik Eiken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Hammervold in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Storhamar Fotball's Sebastian Dragland got a free kick in the 67th minute. Svalstog BK's Roger Hammervold got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Knut Ødegården charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Knut Ødegården the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Svalstog BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Ødegården to maneuver through the defense. If Eilert Solsvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erik Eiken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Hammervold in the 78th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Storhamar Fotball's Eilert Solsvik made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Opland was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 87 in the game by Eilert Solsvik from a close distance when the talented Ivar Opland managed to make a qualified save. Svalstog BK's players were relieved. 95 minutes into the match, Svalstog BK's Bjarne Falck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Eiken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Eiken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bjarne Falck's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
