Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Stav started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Ophus's Jarle Devik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mons Søberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Geir Ryan took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mons Søberg. Mons Søberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 12th minute Jarle Devik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mons Søberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Løvdal kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Geir Ryan might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mons Søberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geir Ryan ran back to his position shaking his head. Geir Ryan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Geir Ryan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Torp IF's Mons Søberg. Mons Søberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 28 minutes, Cent Årvik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ophus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cent Årvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes Torp IF got a freekick which was hit by Dagfinn Sylte. Jarle Devik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mons Søberg having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Geir Ryan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mons Søberg. Torp IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geir Ryan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Mons Søberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cent Årvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torp IF's Mons Søberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geir Ryan in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Geir Ryan made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cent Årvik got free with Mons Søberg in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mons Søberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geir Ryan in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Cent Årvik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Mons Søberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the match, Geir Ryan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mons Søberg, 0-7. In the 64th minute Jarle Devik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mons Søberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mons Søberg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ophus's Henrik Kvalnes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. 71 minutes into the game, Geir Ryan lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Mons Søberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geir Ryan in the 75th minute of play forced Torp IF's goalkeeper Mons Søberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Cent Årvik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ophus's supporters rose to their feet, but Cent Årvik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mons Søberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Knoph hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Henrik Kvalnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mons Søberg made a huge save. The supporters of Ophus booed when Torp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Løvdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Koppang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mons Søberg having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Ophus got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Kvalnes. 90 minutes into the match, Torp IF's goalkeeper Mons Søberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cent Årvik. A collision led to Torp IF getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Runar Toft hit a great ball. Jarle Devik kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Torp IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ophus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
