Spectators: 7608 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1958, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 10th match minute, SK Skrenten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Eide to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Geir Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Stensrud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geir Ryan in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Markus Stensrud, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abraham Koppang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, SK Skrenten's goalkeeper Markus Stensrud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geir Ryan. Markus Stensrud stood somewhat misplaced when Geir Ryan came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Cent Årvik might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Markus Stensrud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cent Årvik ran back to his position shaking his head. Rikard Eide got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to SK Skrenten getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rikard Eide hit a great ball. Markus Stensrud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geir Ryan's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Cent Årvik struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Markus Stensrud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ophus. Erik Hadland hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Koppang got free with Markus Stensrud in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geir Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Ophus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Børge Larssen to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, SK Skrenten's Morten Hegland broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, SK Skrenten's Ragnar Thu got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Geir Ryan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Stensrud. SK Skrenten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geir Ryan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

After a rather tough play, Ophus's Børge Larssen got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Endre Baardsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Morten Hegland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Ophus's Krister Opheim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Stensrud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abraham Koppang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geir Ryan in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Stensrud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Markus Stensrud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geir Ryan in the 68th minute of play. The referee ignored Ophus's protests and gave Krister Opheim a yellow card for diving instead. Abraham Koppang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Markus Stensrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Stensrud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geir Ryan's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Geir Ryan struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Markus Stensrud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ophus. Ophus's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
