Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Geir Ryan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 12 minutes of play, Ophus's Geir Ryan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Rustad was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 minutes, Geir Ryan made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Tenvik's Thomas Rustad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas Rustad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geir Ryan in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Frode Kleiveland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ophus's Geir Ryan in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tenvik's goalie prevented a goal. After 26 played minutes Ophus got a freekick which was hit by Frode Kleiveland. The audience was convinced that Geir Ryan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Rustad was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Thomas Rustad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cent Årvik went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Ophus's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Brunvoll came free, but Ole-Petter Koch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Brunvoll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole-Petter Koch having to interfere. Ole-Petter Koch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Nordeide in the 42nd minute of the match. Thomas Rustad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geir Ryan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Nordeide to make the kick off. Geir Ryan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Kind hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Alex Karlsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole-Petter Koch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Tenvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Karlsen to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Rustad made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Geir Ryan sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Tenvik's zone, Abraham Koppang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Rustad came out of the goal and Abraham Koppang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ole-Petter Koch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Karlsen in the 71st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geir Ryan in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Rustad saved Tenvik from getting behind. Cent Årvik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Thomas Rustad made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Geir Ryan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Rustad. That made the score 0-6 in the 81 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geir Ryan in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Rustad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thomas Rustad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cent Årvik in the 95th minute of play. Henrik Nordeide's late challenge caught a Ophus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Nordeide helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ophus had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
