Predators's Olaf Bødtker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Nordeng in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Kai-Arne Rokne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Bødtker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Predators's Olaf Bødtker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Nordeng in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Lost in pace's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dan Gamst fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Trond Welde fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Predators's protests and gave Trond Welde a yellow card for diving instead. Trond Welde kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Kim Sørmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjørn Holter, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Lost in pace's Jan-Aage Reiersen got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kai-Arne Rokne in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olaf Bødtker saved Predators from getting behind. Olaf Bødtker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Nordeng, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Magne Granmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olaf Bødtker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magne Granmo ran back to his position shaking his head. Trond Welde hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Kai-Arne Rokne made a precise shot to the right of Olaf Bødtker. Predators's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Lost in pace were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dan Gamst made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Kai-Arne Rokne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kai-Arne Rokne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Olaf Bødtker made a huge save. With a little luck, Predators's Olaf Bødtker got control of the ball when Sandu Olăroiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, John Nordeng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lost in pace fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 68th of the match, Kai-Arne Rokne tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Olaf Bødtker got in the way and made a wonderful save. The corner ended in Magne Granmo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Predators's Olaf Bødtker did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kai-Arne Rokne got free with Olaf Bødtker in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandu Olăroiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Olaf Bødtker made a huge save. Magne Granmo charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magne Granmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Predators booed when Lost in pace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Granmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Truls Høyland kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th play minute Kai-Arne Rokne came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olaf Bødtker. 0-5. After 94 played minutes Predators got a freekick which was hit by Ole-Gunnar Forberg. Lost in pace's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
