To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, RotløsFotball IL's Runar Helliesen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nourredine Adjaoud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Preben Simonsen in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nourredine Adjaoud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Preben Simonsen got free with Nourredine Adjaoud in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Runar Helliesen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nourredine Adjaoud. Dream United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Runar Helliesen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Nourredine Adjaoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Kapstad in the 32nd minute of play. If Runar Helliesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes of play, RotløsFotball IL's Runar Helliesen made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nourredine Adjaoud was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Nourredine Adjaoud successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of RotløsFotball IL booed when Dream United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Bakker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Nourredine Adjaoud successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Runar Helliesen to strike the kick off in the second half.
