Skjaldbørg's Trygve Aure proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Skjaldbørg from getting a goal against them. After 85 minutes Skjaldbørg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornel Dinu who took care of the corner kick. Trygve Aure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Al Wieczorek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åsnes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
