Swansea City's Danny Deijkers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marick Rogaars in the 3rd minute of play. Marick Rogaars scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danny Deijkers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Danny Deijkers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marick Rogaars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Swansea City got a freekick which was hit by Arie Baardmam. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swansea City's goalkeeper Danny Deijkers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timo Geerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Danny Deijkers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Klaas Jan Waesbergen fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swansea City's protests and gave Klaas Jan Waesbergen a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Swansea City got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Jan Waesbergen. Geale Kruijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Danny Deijkers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciao Bellas's Simon Kok got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danny Deijkers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Geerts in the 34th minute of the match. Geale Kruijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Danny Deijkers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Timo Geerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciao Bellas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nick Middel's late challenge caught a Ciao Bellas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nick Middel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Swansea City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nick Middel to maneuver through the defense. Karsten Bogaard kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Danny Deijkers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from René Tijink, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Danny Deijkers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Kok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Swansea City's zone, Ettore Di Felice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Deijkers came out of the goal and Ettore Di Felice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Ciao Bellas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timo Geerts made a kick off. Geale Kruijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Danny Deijkers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timo Geerts took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danny Deijkers. Danny Deijkers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Timo Geerts got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Swansea City's Klaas Jan Waesbergen got a free kick in the 57th minute. Karsten Bogaard kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When René Tijink came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ciao Bellas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that René Tijink couldn't finish the play. Caio Neves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danny Deijkers came out and tried to block the shot, but Caio Neves slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 62nd minute. Danny Deijkers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geale Kruijs in the 65th minute of play. When Ciao Bellas's Simon Kok in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Swansea City's goalie prevented a goal. Klaas Jan Waesbergen got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 69th minute, Ettore Di Felice got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerrit Huizinga struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Brain van Rhijn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swansea City. Taco Ros struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Danny Deijkers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciao Bellas. Simon Kok's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Deijkers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Danny Deijkers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ettore Di Felice in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Deijkers saved Swansea City from getting behind. Ettore Di Felice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Ciao Bellas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Swansea City throughout the match.
