After a rather tough play, VVR Roermond's Hans Bok got a free kick in the 7th minute. Timo Geerts took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hendrik Wilhelm. Hendrik Wilhelm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Pieter Bette kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Cosmin Neaga managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Marick Rogaars's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendrik Wilhelm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Timo Geerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciao Bellas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 30th minute Abraham Bemmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brain van Rhijn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Ciao Bellas's Marick Rogaars made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hendrik Wilhelm was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, VVR Roermond's Hans Bok got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hans Bok hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Hendrik Wilhelm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marick Rogaars's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When Geert de Boer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, VVR Roermond's Geert de Boer got a free kick in the 39th minute. VVR Roermond's Hendrik Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marick Rogaars in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the VVR Roermond defense, Geale Kruijs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hendrik Wilhelm. The VVR Roermond fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hendrik Wilhelm should have stopped the shot. Timo Geerts succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-1 in the 47th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, VVR Roermond's goal looked a bit too open when Marick Rogaars came free, but Hendrik Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Ciao Bellas's Marick Rogaars nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hendrik Wilhelm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. If Geale Kruijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Abraham Bemmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VVR Roermond's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Bemmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Marick Rogaars sped through VVR Roermond's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hendrik Wilhelm. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Marick Rogaars managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciao Bellas's supporters rose to their feet, but Marick Rogaars was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hendrik Wilhelm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute Simon Kok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hans Bok fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VVR Roermond's protests and gave Hans Bok a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, VVR Roermond's Hans Bok got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Geale Kruijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Geale Kruijs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hendrik Wilhelm was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. After having played for 84 minutes, Ettore Di Felice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciao Bellas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Di Felice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Marick Rogaars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Kok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Marick Rogaars put it in 9-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hendrik Wilhelm. Ciao Bellas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
