Spectators: 7900 (Terracing: 5925, Seating: 1817, VIP seats: 158) Bram Middel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in DE JONGE TIJGERS's zone, Jeroen Wel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henk Brinker came out of the goal and Jeroen Wel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tonny Rijkaard fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DE JONGE TIJGERS's protests and gave Tonny Rijkaard a yellow card for diving instead. Tonny Rijkaard hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Henk Brinker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Eulen, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Henk Brinker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Eulen in the 12th minute of the match. Bram Middel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joris Stuifzand hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. DE JONGE TIJGERS's Bram Daniels got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to DE JONGE TIJGERS getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mart van Zeist hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giel Vledder in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henk Brinker saved DE JONGE TIJGERS from getting behind. In the 28th minute, David Anker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match, Bram Middel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henk-Jan Robben saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 31 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper Henk-Jan Robben had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bram Daniels. Henk Brinker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giel Vledder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruud Eulen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DE JONGE TIJGERS's Henk Brinker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Eulen in the 37th minute of play. Giel Vledder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Otto Kroeze. In the 47th match minute, DE JONGE TIJGERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mart van Zeist to maneuver through the defense. Henk Brinker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud Eulen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruud Eulen to strike the kick off in the second half. Giel Vledder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Henk Brinker made a huge save. Decathlon Dudes's Henk-Jan Robben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bram Daniels in the 62nd minute of play. Henk-Jan Robben came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by DE JONGE TIJGERS's Mart van Zeist. But to his dismay, Mart van Zeist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bram Daniels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Henk-Jan Robben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, DE JONGE TIJGERS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jeroen Wel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Henk-Jan Robben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Daniels, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Henk Brinker made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Giel Vledder sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of DE JONGE TIJGERS booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeroen Wel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Ruud Eulen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Decathlon Dudes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruud Eulen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, DE JONGE TIJGERS's Mart van Zeist got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giel Vledder got free with Henk Brinker in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bram Daniels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henk-Jan Robben having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DE JONGE TIJGERS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Decathlon Dudes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
