Reinier Wensing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Sedeni Carbo made a huge save. In the 12th minute Niawier Banino SC were awarded a corner. Andy Bunt went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 15th minute Stijn Spijker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Britton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stijn Spijker scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimmy Britton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Niawier Banino SC's goal looked a bit too open when Stijn Spijker came free, but Jimmy Britton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Riemers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sedeni Carbo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 孟文誉 in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Britton saved Niawier Banino SC from getting behind. When Jens Theissen fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niawier Banino SC's protests and gave Jens Theissen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dongenvaart booed when Niawier Banino SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Theissen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Lex van Zalen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niawier Banino SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lex van Zalen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sedeni Carbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Dongenvaart's 孟文誉 got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jimmy Britton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stijn Spijker in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Dongenvaart were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 played minutes Dongenvaart got a freekick which was hit by Roland Toftborg. When Niawier Banino SC's Reinier Wensing in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dongenvaart's goalie prevented a goal. 孟文誉 in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jimmy Britton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 孟文誉 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jimmy Britton made a huge save. The supporters of Niawier Banino SC booed when Dongenvaart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georginio Wijnaldum didn't get a good kick on the ball.
