A collision led to Caliamera FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Berend Groten hit a great ball. Ed Batenburg charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ed Batenburg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wings on Ice's Jacco Popken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Wings on Ice from getting a goal against them. Dirk Oosterbaan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jacco Popken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepijn van Zwieten, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Gerald Geraets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jacco Popken made a huge save. After 47 minutes of play Wings on Ice's Ed Batenburg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Klooster to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacco Popken came out of the goal and Gerald Geraets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, Ted Schrage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wings on Ice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caliamera FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wings on Ice's Ted Schrage got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Gerald Geraets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wings on Ice's Jacco Popken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With 94 minutes on the clock, Hans Hoogstrate commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Wings on Ice:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caliamera FC:s goal. Caliamera FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
