Rik Stekelenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy van Zijl in the 3rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Enkhuizen's Rik Stekelenburg threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jordy van Zijl, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Richard Pepping showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu van den Berg in the 7th minute of the match. Jordy van Zijl hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Miroslaw Scislowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Richard Pepping tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Miroslaw Scislowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Pepping saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Pepping didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arjen Bos went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arjen Bos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miroslaw Scislowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Miroslaw Scislowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henk Robbermond during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Ruitenberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Henk Robbermond. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miroslaw Scislowicz was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Ruitenberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Robbermond to maneuver through the defense. Rik Stekelenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordy van Zijl, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Edward Averdijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rik Stekelenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Enkhuizen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Averdijk to maneuver through the defense. Miroslaw Scislowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Mathieu van den Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruitenberg FC's Rik Stekelenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy van Zijl in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslaw Scislowicz in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Pepping prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Pepping showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Scislowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslaw Scislowicz in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Pepping prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Ruitenberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Averdijk came free, but Rik Stekelenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Miroslaw Scislowicz lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Richard Pepping. In the 86th match minute, Enkhuizen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordy van Zijl to maneuver through the defense. Richard Pepping came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ruitenberg FC's Miroslaw Scislowicz. But to his dismay, Miroslaw Scislowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Miroslaw Scislowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Richard Pepping tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Ruitenberg FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Enkhuizen throughout the match.
