Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 65) Ulises Vimaro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Herbert Hilhorst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Vimaro's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Oliver van Kampen might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráusio Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver van Kampen ran back to his position shaking his head. Dráusio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christijan Schreuder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes of play, Verwachting's Christijan Schreuder made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráusio Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christijan Schreuder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Twan Hesseling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Duarte having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Lino Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráusio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christijan Schreuder in the 32nd minute of play. Twan Hesseling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Japke de Boer notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Suttum FC's Dráusio Duarte. Dráusio Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Twan Hesseling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Duarte having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Verwachting's Japke de Boer made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráusio Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Japke de Boer struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Dráusio Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verwachting.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christijan Schreuder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Twan Hesseling kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dráusio Duarte. That made the score 0-6 in the 54 minute of play. Verwachting's Twan Hesseling got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dráusio Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christijan Schreuder went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Dráusio Duarte was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Twan Hesseling capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Twan Hesseling really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. In the 66th match minute, Suttum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sjaak Borker to maneuver through the defense. Dráusio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Twan Hesseling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes of play, Verwachting's Japke de Boer made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráusio Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 74 minutes, Japke de Boer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verwachting's supporters crossed their fingers, but Japke de Boer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Verwachting's Japke de Boer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráusio Duarte. Dráusio Duarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. When Twan Hesseling came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Verwachting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Twan Hesseling couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Japke de Boer made a precise shot to the right of Dráusio Duarte. Suttum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. In the 87th minute, Christijan Schreuder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráusio Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. With a little luck, Suttum FC's Dráusio Duarte got control of the ball when Christijan Schreuder tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Verwachting's Christijan Schreuder fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Christijan Schreuder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Verwachting left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Suttum FC.
