Dráusio Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascal Zalm went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pasi Hiltunen's late challenge caught a Winthont FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pasi Hiltunen helped the player get up and apologised. Mathijs Grommers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Dráusio Duarte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 11th minute, Winthont FC's Pascal Zalm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráusio Duarte. Dráusio Duarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Pascal Zalm put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dráusio Duarte. In the 21st match minute, Suttum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Svingel to maneuver through the defense. Sjaak Borker hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Pascal Zalm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dráusio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Zalm in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Suttum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Foeke Hoogstrate to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Pascal Zalm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Mathijs Grommers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winthont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathijs Grommers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Suttum FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ulises Vimaro made the kick off in the second half. Sjaak Borker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dennis Beerthuis made a huge save. In the 54th minute Pascal Zalm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Zalm in the 55th minute of play forced Suttum FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráusio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathijs Grommers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Vimaro in the 57th minute of the match. When Bruno Svingel fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suttum FC's protests and gave Bruno Svingel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Suttum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Svingel to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Zalm scored 7-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dráusio Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Gerjan Mos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. Gert Jan van Westerop replaced Pascal Zalm. In the 66th minute, Gert Jan van Westerop got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Gert Jan van Westerop ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráusio Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. A sloppy throw-in by Foeke Hoogstrate in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Winthont FC's Rappo Rapado. If Gert Jan van Westerop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Suttum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Jan van Westerop came free, but Dráusio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Gert Jan van Westerop left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winthont FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathijs Grommers in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráusio Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pasi Hiltunen made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Foeke Hoogstrate however managed to control. In the 88th minute Gert Jan van Westerop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pasi Hiltunen made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Foeke Hoogstrate immediately put the ball in play. Dráusio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Jan van Westerop in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Winthont FC had won after a very even match.
