Seating: 2486, VIP seats: 215) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vincent Frankena got the match started through his kick off. Antoon Zeegers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 12 minutes Pisang Goreng United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ed Palsma who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pisang Goreng United's goalie and right to Riemer Fries. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pisang Goreng United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Pisang Goreng United's Antoon Zeegers got control of the ball when Riemer Fries tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Dolf Schoonderwoerd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Underdogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dolf Schoonderwoerd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincent Frankena in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Wessel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Vincent Frankena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Pisang Goreng United's Vincent Frankena in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Underdogs's goalie prevented a goal. Antoon Zeegers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Edward Wijk charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edward Wijk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Edward Wijk. 36 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Apotheker came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Dolf Schoonderwoerd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antoon Zeegers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Frankena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, The Underdogs's Edward Wijk seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edward Wijk the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Underdogs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edward Wijk had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Pisang Goreng United. Vincent Frankena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jan Wessel. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dolf Schoonderwoerd to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Dolf Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoon Zeegers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Underdogs were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Pisang Goreng United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ed Palsma took the corner. In the 58th minute Iustin Hațegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoon Zeegers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes Pisang Goreng United got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Schulte. In the 64th minute Dolf Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoon Zeegers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Apotheker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Jan Wessel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dolf Schoonderwoerd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Dolf Schoonderwoerd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Apotheker in the 79th minute of play. Vincent Frankena had several of the The Underdogs's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Jan Wessel as he didn't even see the shot coming. 91 minutes into the game, Riemer Fries was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Underdogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pisang Goreng United the free kick. After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Riemer Fries got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jan Wessel came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pisang Goreng United's Lucio Morningstar. But to his dismay, Lucio Morningstar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Iustin Hațegan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Fabian Apotheker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Wessel had great luck who in the 96thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fabian Apotheker from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The The Underdogs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pisang Goreng United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
