Spectators: 10842 (Terracing: 8133, Seating: 2493, VIP seats: 216) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henk van Zwieten kicked off to start the match. FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sons of Strategy's goalkeeper Jan de Boer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan de Boer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Kjellman in the 10th minute of the match. Jan de Boer was a little too slow when Martijn August got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Mike Westerink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sons of Strategy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bal op het Dak the free kick. Mike Westerink hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Kjellman in the 21st minute of play. The corner led FC Bal op het Dak's Joop Bakker to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan de Boer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jan de Boer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martijn August in the 27th minute. Jan de Boer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Kjellman in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Martijn August ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan de Boer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Dan Kjellman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan de Boer having to interfere. When Martijn August came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC Bal op het Dak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martijn August couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Martijn August kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan de Boer. That made the score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Kjellman to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Sons of Strategy got a freekick which was hit by Ferry Klein. Mike Westerink made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Bal op het Dak's Joop Meder. 65 minutes into the game, FC Bal op het Dak's Iwan Valentijn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan de Boer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sons of Strategy's goalkeeper Jan de Boer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Bal op het Dak's Joop Meder quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mike Westerink, made in the 80th minute of the game. Ferry Klein kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Henk van Zwieten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maurício Bomba. That made the score 5-1 in the 84 minute of play. Jan de Boer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 96 played minutes, Sons of Strategy's Wilco Heida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maurício Bomba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sons of Strategy reached it. When the referee ended the match the FC Bal op het Dak players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
