Cosimo Cesare's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciccio Alfani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Cosimo Cesare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciccio Alfani. Paperino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosimo Cesare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 18th minute, Dario Corrente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FataMorgana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Fedele Selvaggi struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ciccio Alfani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FataMorgana. A hard shot 34 in the game by Dario Corrente from a close distance when the talented Ciccio Alfani managed to make a qualified save. Paperino FC's players were relieved. Ciccio Alfani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Cesare in the 35th minute of the match. Dario Corrente didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 7-0 via right post in the game's 37th minute. FataMorgana's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 40 minutes into the game, Dario Corrente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Ciccio Alfani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, FataMorgana's Cosimo Cesare dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 9-0. 49 minutes into the game, Dario Corrente recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciccio Alfani. Dario Corrente showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 10-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dario Corrente made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Dario Corrente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciccio Alfani was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Ciccio Alfani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Cesare, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, FataMorgana's Dario Corrente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciccio Alfani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. FataMorgana made a substitution. Biagio Guerra replaced Cosimo Cesare. After 66 minutes, Dario Corrente made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paperino FC's Ciccio Alfani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th match minute, FataMorgana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Dario Corrente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Alfani having to interfere. Ciccio Alfani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthony De Nicola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Attilio Proia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Biagio Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FataMorgana booed when Paperino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Montagna didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Biagio Guerra in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciccio Alfani saved Paperino FC from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, Paperino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Zoff to maneuver through the defense. Ciccio Nazzari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Alfani having to interfere. Ciccio Alfani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciccio Nazzari went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. Ciccio Alfani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Nazzari in the 97th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Ciccio Nazzari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. Ciccio Alfani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FataMorgana's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
