The TAYLOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to TAYLOR getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Diego Di Muzio hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Comunardo Morandin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ciccio Alfani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the game, TAYLOR's Beppe Chelodi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciccio Alfani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, Comunardo Morandin notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Paperino FC's Ciccio Alfani. Ciccio Alfani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the game, TAYLOR's Comunardo Morandin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciccio Alfani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Fabio De Cesaris scored 0-6 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciccio Alfani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of TAYLOR booed when Paperino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Montagna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Alfani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Chelodi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute, Comunardo Morandin made a precise shot to the right of Ciccio Alfani. Paperino FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. After a rather tough play, TAYLOR's Christian De Laurentiis got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Ciccio Alfani was a little too slow when Alfredo Catena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Genovese in the 58th minute of play forced Paperino FC's goalkeeper Ciccio Alfani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Filippo Montagna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Pallini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. In the 66th minute, TAYLOR's Fabio De Cesaris dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. Beppe Chelodi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciccio Alfani came out and tried to block the shot, but Beppe Chelodi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-10 in the 70th minute. After 78 played minutes Paperino FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Pinho. With a little luck, Paperino FC's Ciccio Alfani got control of the ball when Comunardo Morandin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciccio Alfani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio De Cesaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Ciccio Alfani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Pinho in the 88th minute of play forced TAYLOR's goalkeeper Armando Pallini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paperino FC's zone, Beppe Chelodi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciccio Alfani came out of the goal and Beppe Chelodi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paperino FC were furious when Enrico Polmone was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 94 minutes into the game, one of Paperino FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Ciccio Alfani, was totally fooled by TAYLOR's Fabio De Cesaris, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. TAYLOR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
