The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Di Rocco during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enzo Di Rocco hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Slawomir Cisek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adriano De Carolis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Simone Munno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano De Carolis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Palestra14 were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Bar Marconi United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Slawomir Cisek took the corner. The corner led Palestra14's Jack Black to fire away a dangerous shot which Adriano De Carolis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bar Marconi United's Adriano De Carolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Cisek in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Åkerman in the 25th minute of play forced Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Adriano De Carolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Bar Marconi United's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Åkerman came free, but Adriano De Carolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bar Marconi United's Adriano De Carolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Cisek in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Slawomir Cisek notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bar Marconi United's Adriano De Carolis. Arne Kråk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Spadoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Adriano De Carolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Åkerman in the 39th minute of play. Christian Berardini made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Slawomir Cisek immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Bar Marconi United booed when Palestra14 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavlos Liaros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palestra14's Arne Kråk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Spadoni in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sören Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano De Carolis having to interfere. Adriano De Carolis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Slawomir Cisek in the 53rd minute. If Slawomir Cisek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The Bar Marconi United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palestra14's performance. The match ended with a win for Palestra14.
