Roland Pálffy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Túri in the 5th minute of the match. Aurél Gulyás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Pálinkás in the 7th minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, Kánya's Attila Szőlősi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurél Gulyás was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Kánya booed when Mórahalom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brúnó Nagy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kánya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Pálffy should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Károly Pál-Szabó made the kick off in the second half. Károly Pál-Szabó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aurél Gulyás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Kánya's goal looked a bit too open when Ignác Lakatos came free, but Roland Pálffy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Károly Pál-Szabós short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Aurél Gulyás to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Csontos in the 91st minute of play forced Kánya's goalkeeper Roland Pálffy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mórahalom's Aurél Gulyás proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Mórahalom from getting a goal against them.
