Spectators: 8019 (Terracing: 6016, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) Vasas FC's Dávid Kántor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, András Győri put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lóránt Lantos. 10 minutes into the match, Dávid Kántor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Apollon Grimaszol's Soma Bernáth. Soma Bernáth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. László Jósa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lóránt Lantos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, András Győri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apollon Grimaszol's supporters crossed their fingers, but András Győri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When András Győri fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apollon Grimaszol's protests and gave András Győri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vasas FC booed when Apollon Grimaszol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. András Győri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lóránt Lantos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of András Győri's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mátyás Végvári during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Apollon Grimaszol's Mátyás Végvári got a free kick in the 23rd minute. András Győri struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. In the 46th match minute, Apollon Grimaszol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gergely Szegedi to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After some careless play in the Vasas FC defense, András Győri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lóránt Lantos. The Vasas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lóránt Lantos should have stopped the shot. András Győri struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Dávid Kántor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Soma Bernáth. The goal made the score 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Vasas FC's zone, András Győri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lóránt Lantos came out of the goal and András Győri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. László Jósa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lóránt Lantos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from András Győri in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers András Győri in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lóránt Lantos saved Vasas FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-2 when András Győri sped through Vasas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lóránt Lantos. After 85 minutes of play, Vasas FC's Roland Mester made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Soma Bernáth was left in no man's land by his defense there! András Győri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lóránt Lantos having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Apollon Grimaszol players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
