Spectators: 9234 (Terracing: 6927, Seating: 2124, VIP seats: 183) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Josip Jelinek took the kick off in the first half of the match. Josip Jelinek's late challenge caught a Banovci Polet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josip Jelinek helped the player get up and apologised. Nebojša Maljković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gvozden Počanić having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Banovci Polet got a freekick which was hit by Adrijan Markač. Gvozden Počanić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Pugelnik in the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tribunj Split's zone, Nebojša Maljković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gvozden Počanić came out of the goal and Nebojša Maljković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gvozden Počanić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nebojša Maljković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Romeo Pugelnik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Banovci Polet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Tribunj Split's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Pugelnik came free, but Gvozden Počanić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Tribunj Split was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Pleština to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Leon Čorković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zvonko Šubat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Pugelnik made a kick off. If Zvonko Šubat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slaven Briški kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Tribunj Split's Gvozden Počanić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Pugelnik in the 58th minute of play. Gvozden Počanić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nebojša Maljković in the 59th minute of play. Zvonko Šubat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gvozden Počanić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Pugelnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Leon Čorković fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banovci Polet's protests and gave Leon Čorković a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tribunj Split booed when Banovci Polet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Čorković didn't get a good kick on the ball. Banovci Polet's Zvonko Šubat got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Tribunj Split's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Pugelnik came free, but Gvozden Počanić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gvozden Počanić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Pugelnik's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. If Nebojša Maljković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banovci Polet's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
