Gvozden Počanić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 尤峰昆, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tribunj Split getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Simon Pleština hit a great ball. Gvozden Počanić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 尤峰昆, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Radimir Murgić got a free kick in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zvonimir Kaurić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tribunj Split's Josip Jelinek got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gvozden Počanić made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when 尤峰昆 sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the game, Simon Pleština cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Bermejo Olavarría was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radimir Murgić during the 86th minute.
