After 16 played minutes Polaris ★ Star got a freekick which was hit by Faudel Dorange. Montanay's Axel Pichaud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Montanay from getting a goal against them. Ryan Chopin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steevy Dumay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Just Doucet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Chopin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Chopin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux in the 34th minute of play. Just Doucet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Chopin having to interfere. Just Doucet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ryan Chopin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Chopin having to interfere. Just Doucet scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ryan Chopin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Polaris ★ Star's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux came free, but Ryan Chopin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Chopin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steevy Dumay in the 45th minute of play. But to his dismay, Just Doucet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 58 minutes into the match, Polaris ★ Star's goalkeeper Ryan Chopin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steevy Dumay. After a defensive mix-up in Polaris ★ Star's zone, Just Doucet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Chopin came out of the goal and Just Doucet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Just Doucet got free with Ryan Chopin in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ryan Chopin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Just Doucet, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 71 minutes, Sabri Groussard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montanay and the Polaris ★ Star players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Polaris ★ Star booed when Montanay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabri Groussard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Polaris ★ Star's Charlie Mérand broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Polaris ★ Star's goalkeeper Ryan Chopin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Just Doucet. Polaris ★ Star's Ryan Chopin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabri Groussard in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, Polaris ★ Star's Ryan Chopin got control of the ball when Just Doucet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ryan Chopin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 95 minute of play.
