An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysse Sonnet in the 14th minute of play forced Montanay's goalkeeper Axel Pichaud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Everardo Silbestre made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, Steevy Dumay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Everardo Silbestre. Steevy Dumay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Just Doucet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Silbestre having to interfere. Jules Delas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Just Doucet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montanay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 28th minute Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Silbestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Montanay got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Groussard. Ulysse Sonnet's late challenge caught a Montanay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulysse Sonnet helped the player get up and apologised. Montanay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Durotar Football Club the free kick. Axel Pichaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysse Sonnet in the 37th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Sabri Groussard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montanay and the Durotar Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Montanay getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sabri Groussard hit a great ball. Karl Vaxelaire was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Steevy Dumay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Durotar Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux came free, but Everardo Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Durotar Football Club's Ulysse Sonnet in 56 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Axel Pichaud guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 59th match minute, Durotar Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Verhaeghe to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montanay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Silbestre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Herbert Goupy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Durotar Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Steevy Dumay came free, but Everardo Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steevy Dumay took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Silbestre. Everardo Silbestre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Durotar Football Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montanay.
