An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Prive in the 17th minute of play forced Étoile du Sud's goalkeeper Dennis Jürgensonn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Jürgensonn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Charles Dru in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Joseph Seret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Jürgensonn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Jerphagnon FC booed when Étoile du Sud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wu Yi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pierre-Henri Devin came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Jerphagnon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Henri Devin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Montout in the 30th minute of play forced Jerphagnon FC's goalkeeper Yvan Servant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Peuch got free with Yvan Servant in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marvin Besson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Jerphagnon FC's Yvan Servant got control of the ball when Wu Yi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dennis Jürgensonn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Devin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Dennis Jürgensonn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Seret in the 44th minute of the match. Dennis Jürgensonn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Seret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dennis Jürgensonn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Prive in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Jonathan Montout had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yvan Servant. Jerphagnon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Montout was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Augustin Peuch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Yvan Servant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonathan Montout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yvan Servant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Montout in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Étoile du Sud's goalkeeper Dennis Jürgensonn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morgan Prive. Jonathan Montout recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Jerphagnon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Étoile du Sud throughout the match.
