Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernard Demaret took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Bernard Demaret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barre's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Demaret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franz Mérieau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernard Demaret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz Mérieau having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Terry Borie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barre the free kick. A collision led to Salle getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Terry Borie hit a great ball. Franz Mérieau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Delangle in the 13th minute of the match. Franz Mérieau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Artigues in the 15th minute of play. Pierre-Olivier Férard kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Barre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Raphaël Archimbaud scored to the left of an out of position Marc-Aurèle Dutto, making the score, 1-0. Hakim Desvaux kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Barre's Alexis Perez tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bernard Demaret spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Salle's goal. 28 minutes into the match, Salle's goal looked a bit too open when Joffrey Vaucher came free, but Franz Mérieau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphaël Archimbaud took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marc-Aurèle Dutto. Marc-Aurèle Dutto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Bernard Demaret left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Hakim Desvaux hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Alexis Perez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franz Mérieau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Bernard Demaret got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Salle booed when Barre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Boursin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Travert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marc-Aurèle Dutto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Delangle kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Travert to make the kick off. Hakim Desvaux's late challenge caught a Barre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakim Desvaux helped the player get up and apologised. Hakim Desvaux hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Cheikh Bocage had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc-Aurèle Dutto. Barre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cheikh Bocage was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 63 minutes into the match, Barre's goal looked a bit too open when Bixente Rodier came free, but Marc-Aurèle Dutto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Travert struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Marc-Aurèle Dutto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salle. Barre's Marc-Aurèle Dutto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bixente Rodier in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bixente Rodier in the 71st minute of play forced Barre's goalkeeper Marc-Aurèle Dutto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bixente Rodier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barre's Marc-Aurèle Dutto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Travert in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Cheikh Bocage mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salle and the Barre players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Salle's Cheikh Bocage got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Salle got a freekick which was hit by Raphaël Archimbaud. Marin Delangle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernard Demaret kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Pierre-Olivier Férard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc-Aurèle Dutto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bixente Rodier in the 89th minute of the match. Barre's Bernard Demaret managed to work through Salle's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bernard Demaret dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barre players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Salle.
