The referee showed Bilal Sakho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Kevan Méric made a precise shot to the right of Jérémie Helaine. Boussange's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Anatole Gaulier put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cédric Brunel. The audience was convinced that Kevan Méric's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jérémie Helaine was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Jérémie Helaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevan Méric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Dominique Pages got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boussange's Jérémie Helaine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevan Méric in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Kevan Méric made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevan Méric in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jérémie Helaine saved Boussange from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Boussange's Francis Guénet got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Davy Baud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevan Méric who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Jérémie Helaine when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Boussange's Anatole Gaulier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Orcines. Cédric Brunel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatole Gaulier in the 67th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Boussange's goal looked a bit too open when Kevan Méric came free, but Jérémie Helaine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Alexis Ranc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevan Méric could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jérémie Helaine made a huge save. Kevan Méric might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jérémie Helaine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevan Méric ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Boussange getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Kevan Rébière hit a great ball. Jérémie Helaine made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Kevan Méric sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Orcines's goal looked a bit too open when Anatole Gaulier came free, but Cédric Brunel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
