Spectators: 9303 (Terracing: 6979, Seating: 2139, VIP seats: 185) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaime Tabor made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Lyon Olympique 69's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Tabor came free, but Manuel Espagnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Farid Verrecchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Manuel Espagnet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lev Yashin came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyon Olympique 69's Cezar Nișu. But to his dismay, Cezar Nișu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Jaime Tabor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Espagnet was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When Dimitri Nedellec came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Le Stade Briochin UC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitri Nedellec couldn't finish the play. Manuel Espagnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farid Verrecchia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Farid Verrecchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Espagnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hugo Law had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin got control of the ball when Yuma Roekito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Espagnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Tabor in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Lyon Olympique 69 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nicolas Biard hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Christopher Palumbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Yuma Roekito sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Lyon Olympique 69 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nicolas Biard hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuma Roekito to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Cezar Nișu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyon Olympique 69's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Le Stade Briochin UC the free kick. Cezar Nișu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Manuel Espagnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitri Nedellec, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Jaime Tabor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Espagnet. Jaime Tabor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Farid Verrecchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Espagnet having to interfere. After 65 minutes Lyon Olympique 69's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christopher Palumbo who took care of the corner kick. Le Stade Briochin UC's Nolan Roux was substituted for Dimitri Nedellec. 69 minutes into the match, Toni Dean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lev Yashin. Le Stade Briochin UC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Dean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Toni Dean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Lyon Olympique 69's goalkeeper Manuel Espagnet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clovis Janvier. 75 minutes into the match, Cezar Nișu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin. Lev Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Espagnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farid Verrecchia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Cezar Nișu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clovis Janvier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Espagnet came out and tried to block the shot, but Clovis Janvier slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 82nd minute. Lev Yashin came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyon Olympique 69's Yuma Roekito. But to his dismay, Yuma Roekito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Dean in the 89th minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Clovis Janvier put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Manuel Espagnet. In the 95thth minute of the game Nolan Roux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyon Olympique 69's Manuel Espagnet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Le Stade Briochin UC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
