Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edoardo Filippini in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Espagnet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucila Gimeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toni Dean spun around in front of the goal 39 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Royal PSG's goal. Royal PSG's Théophile Boutillier managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andre Welsh in the 42 minute of the game. When Andre Welsh fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lyon Olympique 69's protests and gave Andre Welsh a yellow card for diving instead. Andre Welsh kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Lyon Olympique 69's Manuel Espagnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucila Gimeno in the 45th minute of play. Tristan Bétourne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Nișu in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edoardo Filippini made a kick off.
