Monistrolet CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wololo F.C the free kick. After 14 played minutes Monistrolet CD got a freekick which was hit by Izar Esperta. 16 minutes into the match, Monistrolet CD's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Arratia came free, but Mariano Japón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monistrolet CD's Mariano Japón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Lastras in the 18th minute of play. Cerilo Varela hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Arratia in the 27th minute of play forced Monistrolet CD's goalkeeper Mariano Japón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Tobiasr Escurza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wololo F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobiasr Escurza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Wololo F.C's Víctor Ucero got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Gaspar Lastras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wololo F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Lastras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Lastras made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wololo F.C's goalkeeper Vinicio Ibanez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giraldo Contratas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Ibanez having to make a save. After 54 minutes, Giraldo Contratas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monistrolet CD and the Wololo F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Monistrolet CD getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Giraldo Contratas hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Wololo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Brais Perpiñán came free, but Vinicio Ibanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Wololo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víctor Ucero to maneuver through the defense. Nesto Gómez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Ibanez having to interfere. Iban Vallejo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Vinicio Ibanez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monistrolet CD. Mariano Japón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Lastras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brais Perpiñán in the 93rd minute of play forced Wololo F.C's goalkeeper Vinicio Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Gaspar Lastras tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mariano Japón saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wololo F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
