Monistrolet CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dezassete the free kick. Carol Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mariano Japón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dezassete. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carol Ferraz in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Japón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 minutes, Carol Ferraz made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Monistrolet CD's Mariano Japón tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Japón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carol Ferraz in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Paulo Ribeiro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Monistrolet CD's Mariano Japón. Mariano Japón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Ribeiro in the 46th minute of play forced Monistrolet CD's goalkeeper Mariano Japón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brais Perpiñán was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Monistrolet CD's Izar Esperta got a free kick in the 51st minute. Baleren Galego hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Carol Ferraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Japón. Mariano Japón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carol Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Paulo Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dezassete's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Japón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Dezassete's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Paulo Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC Dezassete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. When the match was over FC Dezassete could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monistrolet CD throughout the match.
