In the 22nd minute, one of Rosario Central:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rosario Central. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for UNITED. Ulises Nueva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tito Vila. 4-0. When Ulises Nueva came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Nueva couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Ulises Nueva sped through Rosario Central's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tito Vila. Örjan Igelström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Nueva had several of the Rosario Central's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Tito Vila as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 43 minutes of play, UNITED's Ulises Nueva made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tito Vila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tito Vila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Nueva's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Ulises Nueva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tito Vila. Ulises Nueva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 8-0. UNITED's César Xavier was substituted for Ulises Nueva. UNITED's Tomás Guerra was substituted for Idacio Baños.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César Xavier was the one to do the kick off. After 91 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Angelines Carmona. Belarmino Campos who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Tito Vila's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Belarmino Campos was beeing forced to shoot. Markus Abelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers César Xavier in the 95th managed to get into a good position.
