With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Purzycki in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry McKennell saved Kristiansminde AC from getting behind. If Ricky Wiggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odense Boldklub's Nickolai Faarbæk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Odense Boldklub from getting a goal against them. Nickolai Faarbæk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Listved, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Ricky Wiggers notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kristiansminde AC's Henry McKennell. Henry McKennell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute, Bogdan Purzycki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henry McKennell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Wiggers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry McKennell came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Odense Boldklub's Ricky Wiggers. But to his dismay, Ricky Wiggers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Purzycki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry McKennell was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 40 minutes into the game, Rudi Juelsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kristiansminde AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Odense Boldklub the free kick. In the 41st minute, Ricky Wiggers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Kristiansminde AC's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Purzycki came free, but Henry McKennell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Odense Boldklub's Bogdan Purzycki in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nickolai Faarbæk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Børge Harsdorff, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to Kristiansminde AC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ivar Listved hit a great ball. Bogdan Purzycki in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henry McKennell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bo Royal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Jørgen Sakslund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes, Kristiansminde AC's Kristian Lehm shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nickolai Faarbæk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kristiansminde AC reached it. Nicky Oftelund took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nickolai Faarbæk. Nickolai Faarbæk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Odense Boldklub walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
