The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fredrik Nørlem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, Berndt Alvarez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Svaneke IF's Mattæus Jydemand. Mattæus Jydemand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fredrik Nørlem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Arnholm having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Alexander Kirkholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stones FC and the Svaneke IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Svaneke IF booed when Stones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Kirkholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Nørlem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Leo Arnholm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Svaneke IF's Charley Felletoft got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Augustinus Brønsbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mattæus Jydemand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Lavin in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Lavin in the 31st minute of play forced Svaneke IF's goalkeeper Mattæus Jydemand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattæus Jydemand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berndt Alvarez in the 32nd minute of play. Fredrik Nørlem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Arnholm having to make a save. Stones FC's Leo Arnholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Stones FC from getting a goal against them. Leo Arnholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Nørlem's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Salomon Helmert might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Arnholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salomon Helmert ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Nørlem to strike the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Nørlem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredrik Nørlem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Leo Arnholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustinus Brønsbjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Arnholm having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Stones FC's zone, Fredrik Nørlem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Arnholm came out of the goal and Fredrik Nørlem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes Stones FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Kirkholm. Fredrik Nørlem scored 4-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Arnholm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Fredrik Nørlem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salomon Helmert in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Arnholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute Fredrik Nørlem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Arnholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Svaneke IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Klovborg to maneuver through the defense. Tavs Flamand, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. There was no doubt that Svaneke IF were the better team. Svaneke IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
