Pheonix FC's Viggo Herngaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ditlev Dønkjær in the 13th minute of play. Ditlev Dønkjær struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Viggo Herngaard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YNWA classic. Torbjørn Præstensgaard's late challenge caught a YNWA classic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjørn Præstensgaard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjørn Præstensgaard to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Ditlev Dønkjær notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pheonix FC's Viggo Herngaard. Viggo Herngaard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viggo Herngaard didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when YNWA classic's Ditlev Dønkjær shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Ditlev Dønkjær recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of YNWA classic booed when Pheonix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olav Granø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ditlev Dønkjær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Olav Granø fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pheonix FC's protests and gave Olav Granø a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Olav Granø got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, YNWA classic's Nicko Kappelskov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viggo Herngaard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After the first half YNWA classic were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicko Kappelskov made a kick off. In the 54th minute, YNWA classic's Edward Kallenbach dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Valter Aablad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Taffenberg in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Nicko Kappelskov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Viggo Herngaard. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 62nd minute, Runar Hårdell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mickey Ahmed came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Viggo Herngaard could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicko Kappelskov in the 75th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Viggo Herngaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Åge Hasle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mickey Ahmed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Valder Birkedal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match, Nicko Kappelskov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Viggo Herngaard saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. At last the ball reached Nicko Kappelskov at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Pheonix FC. 0-9. YNWA classic played a much better game than Pheonix FC and deserved their victory. The Pheonix FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
