After a defensive mix-up in Legoland United's zone, Mickey Ahmed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Otfelt came out of the goal and Mickey Ahmed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torsten Otfelt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicko Kappelskov in the 15th minute. Niels Brassel charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niels Brassel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niels Brassel kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. A hard shot by Amdi Talmer from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Torsten Otfelt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Torsten Otfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åge Hasle in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Valder Harpøth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Torsten Otfelt. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Valder Harpøth scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Otfelt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to YNWA classic getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bernard Fausbæk hit a great ball. When Mickey Ahmed came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the YNWA classic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mickey Ahmed couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Åge Hasle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 minutes of play, YNWA classic's Valder Harpøth made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Otfelt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute Øjvind Bresnov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Aablad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valder Harpøth struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Torsten Otfelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YNWA classic.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Øjvind Bresnov to make the kick off. Nicko Kappelskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Torsten Otfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of YNWA classic booed when Legoland United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Gyldberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. YNWA classic's Nicko Kappelskov got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torsten Otfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicko Kappelskov in the 57th minute of play. Åge Hasle might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Otfelt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torsten Otfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åge Hasle in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicko Kappelskov in the 76th minute of play forced Legoland United's goalkeeper Torsten Otfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valder Harpøth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Torsten Otfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Otfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicko Kappelskov in the 88th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Nicolaus Grenick got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Torsten Otfelt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 91stth minute of the game Nicko Kappelskov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legoland United's Torsten Otfelt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Åge Hasle scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Otfelt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Valder Harpøth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. YNWA classic had won after a very even match.
