After 9 played minutes Rye BK got a freekick which was hit by Ian Prag. When Mågerne's Owe Bernig in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rye BK's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Erik Horsum had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johan Thyren. Rye BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Horsum was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Johan Thyren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owe Bernig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Horsum in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Svend Alsbro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Owe Bernig in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Thyren saved Rye BK from getting behind. Ambrosius Skårdal kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owe Bernig in the 56th minute of play forced Rye BK's goalkeeper Johan Thyren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Owe Bernig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johan Thyren was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Mågerne's Reinhard Imdrup managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Klement Birkvel in the 64 minute of the game. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mågerne fully deserved thier win.
