Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Miki Mickelborg came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Skovsgaarde's Svenne Korslund. But to his dismay, Svenne Korslund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Jimmy Tauser came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Skovsgaarde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Tauser couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Knut Ersø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tycho Gervin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tycho Gervin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Ersø in the 12th minute of the match. Jakob Helmersen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Skovsgaarde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Tauser to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Skovsgaarde's goalkeeper Tycho Gervin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Therkil Lockey. Therkil Lockeys short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Tycho Gervin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jakob Helmersen scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miki Mickelborg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tycho Gervin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Vithusen, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the last second Tycho Gervin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Matthias Vithusen in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Knut Ersø came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Hugby SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Ersø couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Miki Mickelborg came out of the goal and Svenne Korslund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute Jakob Helmersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miki Mickelborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skovsgaarde walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
