Asgar Tilberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miki Mickelborg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asgar Tilberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olof Klynge got free with Miki Mickelborg in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miki Mickelborg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Asgar Tilberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After some careless play in the Hugby SIK defense, Phillip Runberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miki Mickelborg. The Hugby SIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miki Mickelborg should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Irgensø during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Hugby SIK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of One step beyond:s goal. The referee gave One step beyond a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Magnus Hammerup, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hugby SIK's Miki Mickelborg. 3-0. When Olof Klynge came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the One step beyond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Klynge couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Phillip Runberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Owe Klahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Ersø in the 31st minute of the match. If Olof Klynge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Phillip Runberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miki Mickelborg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phillip Runberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Miki Mickelborg came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by One step beyond's Olof Klynge. But to his dismay, Olof Klynge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A collision led to Hugby SIK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sean Aarslev hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Knut Ersø made the kick off in the second half. If Asgar Tilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hugby SIK's zone, Asgar Tilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miki Mickelborg came out of the goal and Asgar Tilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olof Klynge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miki Mickelborg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Olof Klynge managed to get in a good position for a shot. One step beyond's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Klynge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miki Mickelborg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Hugby SIK's Therkil Lockey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Owe Klahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugby SIK were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after One step beyond's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baltazar Glarmbæk took the corner. When Emil Falcham fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored One step beyond's protests and gave Emil Falcham a yellow card for diving instead. Emil Falcham hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Olof Klynge struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Miki Mickelborg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for One step beyond. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phillip Runberg in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miki Mickelborg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Edward Aldenborg fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hugby SIK's protests and gave Edward Aldenborg a yellow card for diving instead. Edward Aldenborg kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Phillip Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knut Ersø kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, One step beyond's Phillip Runberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miki Mickelborg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.
