Efren Reina started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes BK Skjold got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Holflod. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesinha Vargas got free with Jesús Incendio in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as BK Skjold's Cesinha Vargas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jesús Incendio. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Magnus Sølle took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benne Verdonk. Benne Verdonk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cláudio Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jesús Incendio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BK Skjold's Benne Verdonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten Randholt in the 20th minute of play. Eurico Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesús Incendio having to interfere. Benne Verdonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karsten Randholt in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Balthasar Ostenborg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benne Verdonk. BK Skjold's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Balthasar Ostenborg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Efren Reina came free, but Benne Verdonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Jesús Incendio got control of the ball when Cláudio Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vestegnens Betonhelte's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Eurico Mello scored to the left of an out of position Jesús Incendio, making the score, 2-3. BK Skjold's Benne Verdonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balthasar Ostenborg in the 41st minute of play. Cesinha Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesús Incendio having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Balthasar Ostenborg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vestegnens Betonhelte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eurico Mello made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Karsten Randholt got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A hard shot 59 in the game by Karsten Randholt from a close distance when the talented Benne Verdonk managed to make a qualified save. BK Skjold's players were relieved. Balthasar Ostenborg was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Eurico Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesús Incendio having to interfere. Benne Verdonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balthasar Ostenborg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to BK Skjold getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Emil Dahlman hit a great ball. Benne Verdonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Sølle in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Mello in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesús Incendio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute Cesinha Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesús Incendio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balthasar Ostenborg in the 81st minute of play forced BK Skjold's goalkeeper Benne Verdonk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Efren Reina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benne Verdonk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. 96 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Balthasar Ostenborg came free, but Benne Verdonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
