After 15 played minutes Uggeløse SIK got a freekick which was hit by Loui Ravnkjær. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elo Kaptain got free with Orla Palsdal in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17thth minute of the game Georg Lindvig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Skjold's Pelle Rosenfeldt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Uggeløse SIK's Orla Palsdal got control of the ball when Folmer Valdæk tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Uggeløse SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Seirup to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in BK Skjold's zone, Georg Lindvig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelle Rosenfeldt came out of the goal and Georg Lindvig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BK Skjold's Folmer Valdæk got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georg Lindvig in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pelle Rosenfeldt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddie Jenfort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Uggeløse SIK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Åge Nørhaagaard hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Georg Lindvig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Uggeløse SIK booed when BK Skjold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Gaarslev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddie Jenfort who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Pelle Rosenfeldt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Georg Lindvig scored 0-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pelle Rosenfeldt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
