Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gordian Arslan made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordian Arslan in the 3rd minute of play forced Holzmanns's goalkeeper Balko Oberländer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balko Oberländer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordian Arslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Högenhausen's Nenad Sombrutzki got control of the ball when Efraim Jennen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nenad Sombrutzki acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leon Knott. After a rather tough play, Högenhausen's Kjeld Sondermann got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Leon Knott shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nenad Sombrutzki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Arndt Spankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Franz Steele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holzmanns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Högenhausen the free kick. A collision led to Holzmanns getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Franz Steele hit a great ball. Högenhausen's Arndt Spankowski got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arndt Spankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Nikolaus Stauder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Balko Oberländer. Holzmanns's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikolaus Stauder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Balko Oberländer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolaus Stauder, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theo Germann to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Holzmanns's goal looked a bit too open when Kjeld Sondermann came free, but Balko Oberländer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franz Steele hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Nikolaus Stauder came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Högenhausen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikolaus Stauder couldn't finish the play. Gordian Arslan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Balko Oberländer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Holzmanns's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Nikolaus Stauder scored to the left of an out of position Balko Oberländer, making the score, 0-2. Gordian Arslan struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Balko Oberländer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Högenhausen. Holzmanns's Balko Oberländer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Holzmanns from getting a goal against them. Arndt Spankowski's late challenge caught a Holzmanns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arndt Spankowski helped the player get up and apologised. Nikolaus Stauder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balko Oberländer having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Holzmanns's zone, Kjeld Sondermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balko Oberländer came out of the goal and Kjeld Sondermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjeld Sondermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Balko Oberländer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Högenhausen's Kjeld Sondermann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Balko Oberländer. Balko Oberländer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Högenhausen's Kjeld Sondermann got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holzmanns's Balko Oberländer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Holzmanns from getting a goal against them. Högenhausen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
