Holzmanns
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Holzmanns's Theo Germann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes Holzmanns got a freekick which was hit by Horatio Sprenger. After a defensive mix-up in Holzmanns's zone, Lovis Urgien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balko Oberländer came out of the goal and Lovis Urgien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horatio Sprenger hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Birk in the 12th minute of play forced Holzmanns's goalkeeper Balko Oberländer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Maximilian Birk made a precise shot to the right of Balko Oberländer. Holzmanns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Maximilian Birk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximilian Birk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balko Oberländer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, DSC Arminia Bielefeld's Lovis Urgien made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Balko Oberländer was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to DSC Arminia Bielefeld getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Romeo Krause hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Holzmanns's zone, Maximilian Birk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balko Oberländer came out of the goal and Maximilian Birk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Theo Germann came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Holzmanns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Germann couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Holzmanns booed when DSC Arminia Bielefeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Birk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Balko Oberländer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximilian Birk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balko Oberländer having to interfere. DSC Arminia Bielefeld's Lovis Urgien got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half DSC Arminia Bielefeld were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Steele in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiko Huffschmid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 52nd match minute, DSC Arminia Bielefeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Rehm to maneuver through the defense. Theo Germann succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Theo Germann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Huffschmid having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Leon Knott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lovis Urgien might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Balko Oberländer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lovis Urgien ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the match, DSC Arminia Bielefeld's Lovis Urgien sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Balko Oberländer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lovis Urgien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximilian Birk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heiko Huffschmid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Germann, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Theo Germann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Huffschmid having to interfere. The Holzmanns fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DSC Arminia Bielefeld were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
