Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christof Hähner got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Bennigsen getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Rico Mehling hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Appercha's Werner Uhde ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kemal Plesetz. Kemal Plesetz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Werner Uhde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Kemal Plesetz made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Ferdl Neuhausen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Schabel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for John Küffner. Appercha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Christof Hähner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thorsten Waschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Ferdl Neuhausen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Werner Uhde came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kemal Plesetz could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Bennigsen's Isaak Blumentritt got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bennigsen's Oliver Ahrens got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oliver Ahrens struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. John Küffner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bennigsen. Kemal Plesetz made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Werner Uhde sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 42 minutes, Werner Uhde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Appercha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Werner Uhde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliver Ahrens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Küffner having to interfere. Kemal Plesetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christof Hähner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Oliver Ahrens made the kick off in the second half. Appercha's John Küffner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Appercha from getting a goal against them. Oliver Ahrens struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. John Küffner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bennigsen. The supporters of Appercha booed when Bennigsen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Schabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Küffner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaak Blumentritt in the 66th minute of the match. Kemal Plesetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christof Hähner in the 68th minute of play. Bennigsen's Oliver Ahrens got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John Küffner was a little too slow when Oliver Ahrens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-1. Oliver Ahrens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Frank Schabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes Bennigsen got a freekick which was hit by Ferdl Neuhausen.
