Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Curt Selle got the match started through his kick off. Waldo Pathe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christof Hähner, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Curt Selle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Küffner having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Chris Blaum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chris Blaum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John Küffner having to make a save. John Küffner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Blaum in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Werner Uhde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Appercha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Störmthal Red Sox's goal looked a bit too open when Christof Hähner came free, but Waldo Pathe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Störmthal Red Sox's Hermann Mönikes got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 28 played minutes Appercha got a freekick which was hit by Thorsten Waschke. Chris Blaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Küffner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curt Selle in the 32nd minute of the match. If Werner Uhde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Christof Hähner rounded Störmthal Red Sox's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Christof Hähner had several of the Störmthal Red Sox's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Waldo Pathe as he didn't even see the shot coming.

The wind increased when Christof Hähner made the kick off in the second half. Christof Hähner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldo Pathe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Christof Hähner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldo Pathe having to interfere. Werner Uhde struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Waldo Pathe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Appercha. Christof Hähner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Waldo Pathe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thorsten Waschke went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Werner Uhde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Waldo Pathe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christof Hähner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldo Pathe having to interfere. Curt Selle struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. John Küffner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Störmthal Red Sox. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Curt Selle during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Appercha's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
