With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heiko Jojade in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Linus Tadic saved Weßling from getting behind. Linus Tadic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Jojade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Matt Leers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Blumenhofen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Linus Tadic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakon Kinkeldey in the 36th minute of play. Steven Blumenhofen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hakon Kinkeldey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Paul Schwaderer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewald Kuckuck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck got control of the ball when Hakon Kinkeldey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ewald Kuckuck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Schwaderer, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakon Kinkeldey got free with Ewald Kuckuck in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hakon Kinkeldeys short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Ewald Kuckuck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 67 minutes into the match, North Ferriby United's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Schwaderer came free, but Ewald Kuckuck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Weßling booed when North Ferriby United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mika Guenther didn't get a good kick on the ball. Weßling's Linus Tadic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Antoni in the 87th minute of play.
